Liberty High School standout Haileigh Smith’s collegiate team loses game in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship on Friday, May 16

On Friday, May 16, former Liberty High School standout Haileigh Smith’s current collegiate team the Wartburg Knights lost 0-8 against the Redlands Bulldogs in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at WashU Softball Field at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Redlands Bulldogs in the tournament.

The Wartburg Knights’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 1:30 p.m. at WashU Softball Field.
