On Thursday, March 6, former Liberty High School standouts Liam Bender and Mason Gardner’s current college team, the Wartburg Knights, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Grove City Wolverines.
The game took place at Northeast Regional Park. This was their first matchup against the Wolverines this season.
The Knights’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 3:30 p.m. at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex against Concordia Chicago Cougars.
