On Sunday, March 16, former Liberty High School standouts Liam Bender and Mason Gardner’s current college team, the Wartburg Knights, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the St. Olaf Oles.
The game took place at Harms Stadium at Hertel Field. This was their second matchup against the Oles this season.
The Knights’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at McBride Field against Simpson Storm.
