On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Liberty High School standouts Liam Bender and Mason Gardner’s current college team, the Wartburg Knights, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Illinois Blue Boys.

The game took place at Joe Brooks Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Blue Boys this season.

The Knights’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 3 at 9 a.m. at Northeast Regional Park against Wentworth Leopards.
