On Friday, Feb. 28, former Clear Creek Amana High School standout Kaly Thomas’ current college team, the Maine Black Bears, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions.

The game took place at Youngsville Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lady Lions this season.

The Black Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at Conaty Park against Bryant Bulldogs.
