The University of Iowa women’s basketball team is set to participate in the second annual WBCA Showcase, as announced by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. The event will take place at Walt Disney World Resort’s State Farm Field House, located within the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.
Iowa’s team will compete against Baylor on Thursday, November 20 at 8 p.m. Central Time and Miami (FL) on Saturday, November 22 at 7 p.m. Central Time. The State Farm Field House has a notable history of hosting prominent college basketball events, including the ESPN Events Invitational since 2006 and last year’s inaugural WBCA Showcase.
Danielle Donehew, Executive Director of the WBCA, stated: “We are excited to announce Baylor, Central Missouri, Davidson, Iowa, Miami, Missouri, Washington State and West Florida as the participants in the second annual WBCA Showcase. This field ensures an outstanding weekend of college women’s basketball at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.”
Tickets for the showcase are available exclusively through Ticketmaster starting at $25 with options for upgraded seating. Group tickets will be released later. All tickets must be purchased online and will be delivered digitally; no onsite sales will occur at the venue box office during game days.
