The University of Iowa men’s golf team has announced its fall 2025 tournament schedule. According to head coach Tyler Stith, the Hawkeyes will participate in five tournaments during the upcoming season.
The team begins its campaign at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate in Knoxville, Tennessee, from September 5-7. Following this event, they will travel to Chicago, Illinois, for the Highlands Invitational on September 15-16.
In October, Iowa is scheduled to compete at the Fighting Irish Classic in South Bend, Indiana, on October 6-7. This marks their ninth appearance at the event over the past decade; they did not compete in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The Hawkeyes will continue their season at the Moraine Intercollegiate in Dayton, Ohio, on October 13-14. The fall schedule concludes with participation in the Fallen Oak Collegiate in Biloxi, Mississippi, from October 18-20. Iowa has played in this event each of the last two seasons.
The roster features four returning letter winners and includes a notable transfer from Oklahoma State, Grant Gudgel. Additionally, freshman Bennet Warren joins as Kansas’s top-ranked junior and was listed as No. 60 nationally by Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings. Gage Messingham and Max Tjoa have been significant contributors; since 1991 Messingham ranks 11th all-time for a single-season scoring average (72.21), while Tjoa is ranked 26th (73.06).
