On Tuesday, March 25, former Iowa City High School standout Carey Koenig’s current college team, the Drake Bulldogs, won 14-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.

The game took place at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Leathernecks this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. at Buel Field against Indiana State Sycamores.
