On Saturday, March 1, former Iowa City High School standout Cynthia Hull’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, won 11-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.

The game took place at Lou Brock Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Beacons this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 10 a.m. at Lou Brock Sports Complex against Green Bay Phoenix.
