On Tuesday, March 25, former Liberty High School standouts Brynlee Slockett and Kara Maiers’ current college team, the Northern Iowa Panthers, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.

The game took place at Eichelberger Field. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. at UNI-Dome against Bradley Braves.
